ထာမ်ပလိက်:ws header

နူ ဝိက်ရှေန်နရဳ

This template generates a header for thesaurus pages.

Use this template to add a header to a thesaurus entry. This template should be placed at the very beginning of the page.

This template uses one unnamed (positional) parameter and a few named parameters. All of them are optional.

  • |1= – the name to appear in the header.
    • To mark up the name using Wikitext, specify |noformat=1 or |noformat=yes and this parameter with the Wikitext markup, for example, beautiful woman.
    • To prevent the thesaurus name from linking to any Wiktionary entry, specify |noformat=1 or |noformat=yes and do not give |1= any value.
If this parameter is omitted, the template uses the thesaurus name.
  • |link= – to link the thesaurus name to a specific Wiktionary entry, specify this using this parameter. If this parameter is omitted, by default the thesaurus name will be linked to a Wiktionary entry with the same name.
Basic use

Suppressing the thesaurus name from linking to a Wiktionary entry

Using Wikitext to mark up the thesaurus name
  • Wikitext:
  • Result:

Specifying a different Wiktionary entry to link to the thesaurus name
  • Wikitext:
  • Result:
  • The text "Thesaurus" links to Wiktionary:Thesaurus, which serves as a policy page and an instruction manual.
  • The name of the page, that may or not be linked to an entry of Wiktionary.
  • A search box to search only thesaurus pages.
  • The table of contents is by default always floating to the right in Thesaurus pages.
  • The CSS style #wikisaurus-toc formats the Wikisaurus TOC. It's invisible by default. To make the Thesaurus TOC visible, use #wikisaurus-toc { display: block; }.
