This template uses Module:mdh-pron to auto-generate pronunciation of Maguindanao entries.

Usage

Parameters

Normally, call this template with no parameters, and it will automatically generate the pronunciation for the page name.

NOTE: The invocation of {{mdh-IPA}} should occur on a line by itself. Do not put a bullet mark (*) before it. The bullet mark is generated by the template.

|1=

Phonetic respelling of word or phrase. Needed for most terms with E (which represents a schwa: substitute it with Ë).

|bullets=

Number of bullet marks to place before the generated pronunciation. Defaults to 1.

|pre=

Text to place before the generated pronunciation, e.g. accent tags.

|post=

Text to place after the generated pronunciation.

Examples

The following usage examples do not require a pronunciation hint:
