of အဝ်သတြေဨဃှဳယျာတေတ် origin, compare မန်-ခမေန်-အခိုက်ကၞာ *graŋ (“hill, peak”) (ထာမ်ပလိက်:zh-ref), whence မန် ဂြၚ် (krɛ̀aŋ, “peak”) and ခမေန်တြေံ grāṅ (“hill on flat land”).
