Use this template to insert text labels on the main image of Picture dictionary.

To be used in combination with Template:picdic.

Parameters for this template:

|1= (required)

The ISO code of the language of the entry, used for linking within the wiktionary entry. Mandatory.

|posx=, |x= (required)

|posy=, |y= (required)

The coordinates are the number of pixels from the upper-left-hand corner of the visible size of the image, so are dependent of the size shown on screen.

These parameters are mandatory. In case these are missing the link is shown centered at the top of the image.

|y= and |posy= behave the same; |x= and |posx= behave differently for compatibility (the latter is adjusted based on the text alignment, while the former is not).

|2=, |link= (required)

The name of the entry, used for linking to the Wiktionary entry

|sc= (optional)

A script code. Should be specified with languages that use multiple scripts if auto-detection does not give the correct result.

|showtr=1 (optional)

Shows the automatic/default transliteration.

|tr= (optional)

Overrides the automatic/default transliteration and shows it.

|anchor= (optional)

A section within the entry, used for linking to a section within the Wiktionary entry

This parameter is optional, the default is the language name of the ISO language specified by the |1= parameter.

|alt=, |altlink= (optional)

The alternate text shown for the entry

This parameter is optional, the default is the text of the link parameter

Tip: Use altlink=x for preview mode editing to fine-tune the position

|fontsize= (optional)

The font size of the link (in points)

This parameter is optional. The default value is 12

|pcolor= (optional)

The palette color to use (without the --wikt-palette- prefix).

|color= (optional)

The color of the link (in CSS format).

This parameter is optional. The default value is black (white on dark mode).

|align= (optional)

The alignment of the label. Valid values are left, center and right

This parameter is optional. The default value is center
